End the tour at the famous Diani beach, Africa’s leading beach destination for the fifth time running since 2015. Itinerary

Day 1; Transfer from Kampala to Nairobi via Busia border point;

This marks our ultimate journey from Kampala to Nairobi that will take us about 11-12 hours since it will be filled with numerous stop overs that will include Jinja town for breakfast and Mbale town for our enroute lunch and later on we shall check in our hotel in Nairobi town for dinner and overnight stay and also prepare to explore the hidden wonders of Nairobi town the following day.

Day 2; Explore Giraffe center, Elephant & Bomas of Kenya;

 8:00AM: Giraffe Center;

 You will be picked by our safari representative at your hotel and he will brief you about the two day Nairobi city tour itinerary. You will be then transferred to the giraffe center in the Langata area and once there the guide will hand you the giraffe food in an envelope. They will explain to you how to feed the giraffes and also groom them. The activity is rewarding as the giraffe picks their food from your hands. Is one of the most amazing and memorable experiences of a lifetime coupled with photographic memories.

11:00 AM: David Shedrick Elephant Orphanage;

 You then depart for the Elephant Sanctuary where you will enjoy views of elephants. Then participate in the feeding of baby elephants with milk bottles and adult elephants with vegetation.

As you make memories in this place, learn about the history of this conservation area and discover that your visit contributes to its existence.

1:00 Pm/ 13:00 hours: Lunch Time;

 Your guide will transfer you to an eatery for your lunch.

2:00 Pm/ 14:00 hours: Bomas of Kenya;

 After lunch, we shall head to Kenya’s cultural centre known as the Bomas of Kenya and learn about the Kenyan people. These tribes include; Kikuyu, Babukusu, Karenjin, Maasi, Taita, Samburu, Embu, Kisii and Kamba. Later you will proceed to the auditorium for a performance from cultural dances and folk songs to acrobatics. Later you will be transferred to your hotel for overnight and dinner. In case you are interested in night activities or entertainment, this can be arranged on request.

 Day 3; Explore Nairobi Park, City center and Masai Market & Uhuru Park;

 8:00 Am: Nairobi National Park and Snake Park.

In the morning you will be picked by your guide and transferred to Nairobi Museum for an insightful historical and, cultural insight into the people of Kenya. You will enjoy visiting the different museum exhibits ranging from the independence hall, art galleries and many others. Later you will visit the snake part to learn more about the African snakes.

11:00 AM; City center and Masai Market;

Later you will proceed to the Masai market where you will shop for souvenirs ranging from African crafts like Jewelry, clothes, sandals/ shoes, African tablemates.

1:00 Pm/ 13:00 hours: Uhuru Park;

You will have a picnic lunch at Uhuru Park as you enjoy scenic views of the city or even take part in a cruise.

12:30 pm: Nairobi National Park;

After lunch, you will proceed to the only National Park in the Nairobi city Centre for a game drive where you will site a number of animals. The park offers you a slice of all the wildlife in Kenya’s national parks. These include; wildebeests, lions, Elephants, cheaters, Buffaloes, hippos, giraffes, elands, Rhinos, leopards, zebras, impala. The birders are also catered for on this trip and will enjoy viewing some of these bird species like Ostriches, Vultures.

DAY 4; Explore Mombasa and Its Hidden Gems;

Bombululu Workshops and Cultural Centre;

Bombululu Workshops and Cultural Centre is located in Mombasa, Kenya, and works with more than 100 people with different abilities, men and women artisans to help them overcome their physical limitations and empower them economically and socially to become fully integrated members of their communities, also providing social benefits to the workers e.g. Clinic, Nursery School, Social Hall, Sports, HIV Prevention, etc. Bombululu started in 1969 and the Association for the Physically Disabled of Kenya took over in 1987.

Mombasa Marine National Park and Reserve;

Mombasa Marine National Park and Reserve is a marine park and national reserve in Mombasa, Kenya. The park is 10 km² while the reserve is 200 km². It is located on the coast near tourist areas and is a popular beach because of the snorkeling and diving. It is the most heavily visited of Kenya’s marine parks

Haller Park;

 Haller Park is a nature park in Bamburi, Mombasa, on the Kenyan coast. It is the transformation of a quarry wasteland into an ecological area. Haller Park holds a variety of plant and animal species which serve as a recreation spot for tourists and locals.

Old Town;

Old Town is an area of Mombasa, Kenya. Situated on the south-east side of Mombasa Island, the Old Town covers an area of 72 hectares, and is inhabited by a mix of local, Arab, Asian, Portuguese and British settlers.

DAY 5; Explore Fort Jesus Museum, Nguuni Nature Sanctuary & Jumba La Mtwana

Fort Jesus Museum;

Located in Mombasa Island, Fort Jesus Museum was built to secure the safety of Portuguese living on the East Coast of Africa. The Fort was used as a barrack for the soldiers and converted to a prison when the British protectorate was proclaimed. The Fort is now an important historical landmark in the East African region, a national treasure managed by the National Museums of Kenya.

Nguuni Nature Sanctuary;

Only 4 kilometers away from Bamburi Cement Factory, a small nature sanctuary in a completely unique “out of Africa” environment. Rain-fed ponds are inhabited by fish and birds. Large Doum Palm crowned by Leopard Orchids is scattered in the grassland. The perfect venue for getting together with family, friends, business colleagues and educational school tours. Jumba La Mtwana;

Jumba la Mtwana is the site of historical structures and archeological relics on the Indian Ocean coast of Kenya, lying close to the Mtwapa Creek, at Malindi, in Kilifi County, north of Mombasa. It dates back to the fourteenth century. Its features include a Mosque by the Sea.

DAY 6; Explore the magnificent coastal Diani beach and later transfer to Nairobi;

Diani Beach;

Diani Beach is a major beach resort on the Indian Ocean coast of Kenya. It is located 30 kilometers south of Mombasa, in the nearby Kwale County. It has been voted Africa’s leading beach destination for the third time running since 2015. After the day’s entanglement with the magnificent coastal beach, you will transfer back to Nairobi for overnight stay as we prepare for a road trip back to Uganda the following morning.

Day 7; Transfer Back to Uganda via Busia Border point;

After your early morning breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and we embark on our 11 hrs. drive from Nairobi to Kampala and this will be filled with a couple of stopovers throughout the entire journey and this will mark the end of our 7 days Uganda – Kenya ultimate road trip.
